A superb Natural Pool with detailed finish, linking our client’s house and formal garden with the undulating chalk meadows below.

The pool was designed in keeping with the idyllic surrounding Lincolnshire Wolds - surrounded by wildflower meadows and overlooking a natural lake.

The pool is 20m long, with a 15m x 6m deep end. A paved shallow end leads up to a gently shelving wildlife beach with attractive boulders.

Reeds in the plant filter screen the pool from the prevailing wind and a colurful bog garden bordering the regeneration zone will extend the flowering season.

Adjacent living areas with paving and larch decking link the water to an upcoming pool house. Painstaking construction work and attention to detail have created a superb finish around the pool, with decking and paving joining seamlessly around the water’s edge.

The pool has fabulous lighting installed both in and around the water.

We took care to frame views across the water towards the lake, and have designed Pied Oudolf style perennial meadows around the pool, which will be planted later this spring.

This pool is a plant lover’s paradise.
